The honeymoon period is said to be the most memorable period in one's life. Kerala is the paradise that would create a perfect background for your memorable days.

The glamorous hills, enchanting waterfalls, fascinating backwaters and the enticing beaches make this land that could create magic.

The land is not only blessed geographically but also have a cultural richness and the rejuvenating Ayurvedic therapies that could challenge any luxuries spas in the world attract a lot of newlyweds to this land.

It is no wonder that Kerala has been voted as one of the 50 most beautiful places that should be visited in a lifetime.

There is no doubt that the palm-fringed lagoons and canals of Alappuzha or the emerald green carpeted hills of Munnar could entice desire in the minds of the newlyweds. That is the magic that we are saying.

Take a stroll through the mist-laden aromatic tea plantations in Munnar or Thekkady along with your soulmate, you will be in your own world to worry about the rest. The tranquility and calmness that the place could provide can't be matched to anything else in this world. Hills are not the only thing that you could enjoy there, Munnar is dotted with numerous waterfalls, mountain streams and exotic dense forests.

Well, Vagamon is not far behind Munnar when it comes to natural beauty and charm. The meadows, scenic valleys and the pine forest give it an otherworldly charm that should not be missed.

Relish the aromatic fragrances of the spice and coffee plantations in Thekkady. Watch the wild animals up close as you cruise through the Periyar Lake. If lucky you can see the majestic tigers in this wildlife reserve.

Another place to enjoy the tranquility of the hills and the pleasant climate is Wayanad. The region has a natural appeal to it. The lush green forests, scenic valleys and waterfalls make it one of the best places that you should spend your honeymoon.

Long houseboat ride from Alappuzha to Kollam through the intertwined backwaters of Kerala will be one of the most romantic experience couples could have. Who could say no to the visuals such as lush vegetation, including the paddy fields, swaying coconut and palm groves, the exotic sunsets, and the lip-smacking Kerala cuisine that is served while you relax on the deck with your partner?

Kumarakom is the other place that you could enjoy a houseboat ride.  Other than the scenic beauty of the backwaters, the famous bird sanctuary also makes it a must visit place.

There are a lot of waterfalls in our country, but none could match the majestic look of Athirappilli nestled in the Vazhachal forest range. The Chalakudi River that originates in the Western Ghats takes 80 ft plunges in three separate streams when it reaches Athirappilli creating one of the most stunning spectacles nature could give us.

Want to be part of the old world then visit the old Kochi areas such as Fort Kochi, Mattancherry or one of the little islands in and around Kochi. There are many Colonial-era buildings and streets that reminisce of the bygone era.

Take a stroll along the Bekal Fort to understand our forefather's knowledge about architecture that would go well with the surrounding nature.
